Description:Registered Nurse, PACU, PT Sat/Sun 7a-3p with call

Join us at Piedmont Newton as we continue to grow We currently have 6 PACU beds that help meet the complex needs of our community.

Our intensive care unit at Piedmont Newton offers the following advanced therapeutic modalities:

Invasive and Non-Invasive Hemodynamic Monitoring

Management of patients having or requiring:

Post-surgical management

Continuous bi-pap management

The PACU at Piedmont Newton uses:

Bedside report handoff between phases of care and inpatient units

Purposeful Rounding for safety and service

Quality initiatives such as pain assessment and reassessment, pressure ulcer prevention, infection prevention strategies for central lines and indwelling urinary catheters, etc.

Unit Based Educator to help address competency, onboarding, and learning needs

Charge nurse out of staffing or with limited patient load to facilitate daily operations

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursing program

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
New Graduates of a nursing program eligible

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
Bachelors degree preferred
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
