Overview:

The Laboratory Research Associate plays a crucial role in the biomanufacturing sector, focusing on the production and compliance of innovative cellular products. This position involves a comprehensive training program designed to equip new team members with the necessary skills for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in various manufacturing processes associated with the initiation and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) production of cellular products.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines throughout all manufacturing activities.
  • Maintain and obtain qualifications essential for executing aseptic tasks.
  • Contribute to the formulation, production, and preservation of cellular products, ensuring compliance with GMP and aseptic processing protocols.
  • Draft essential GMP documentation, including standard operating procedures and batch production records, under supervision.
  • Assist in validation processes related to manufacturing methodologies.
  • Participate actively in all manufacturing operations, including raw material management and cell culture processes.
  • Exhibit proper cleanroom conduct and maintain cleanliness within the facility.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a relevant scientific discipline is highly preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Experience in biotechnology or cell therapy is desirable but not required.
  • Consideration may be given to candidates with relevant internship experience.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, which may involve exposure to hazardous materials.
  • Proficiency in algebraic calculations is necessary.
