As the Logistics Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing several key areas essential for the seamless operation of our logistics processes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers, vendors, and team members to fulfill customer commitments.
  • Understand and implement GXO's quality policies; develop procedures to meet quality objectives.
  • Guide supervisors regarding personnel, quality, and safety matters.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff effectively.
  • Propose initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage equipment and coordinate maintenance needs with the maintenance team.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely report completion.
  • Enforce safe work practices, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:
Minimum Requirements:
  • 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and computerized scanning equipment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may involve weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
  • 4 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Background in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL).

Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to:
  • Lift various objects of different shapes, sizes, and weights.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Reach (including overhead), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
  • Tolerate varying temperatures in a warehouse environment.
