Facilities Associate

At HITT Contracting, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate, Facilities to join our team. This role is responsible for managing warehouse inventory, coordinating the renting and selling of in-house tools and materials, and overseeing janitorial needs for our headquarters, Co|Lab, and The Shed.
Key Responsibilities:- Purchase and replenish construction materials at competitive prices for warehouse stock.
- Code assigned vendor invoices for warehouse materials, tools, and janitorial supplies in DocuSphere.
- Utilize Tool Watch inventory tracking software to track material transfers and tool rentals for jobs, updating records daily.
- Process PPE, tools, and warehouse materials orders for job sites and regional offices.
- Provide quarterly reports on warehouse sales and inventory to the Facilities Manager.
- Manage and organize warehouse inventory to ensure items are easily located and secure.
- Assist service technicians and trade partners who arrive on-site without a point of contact and determine whom they are visiting.
- Coordinate with FedEx and UPS to ensure all outgoing packages in the warehouse are picked up and notify the production team if that does not occur.
- Receive and check all incoming deliveries and notify team members that they have received a package.
- Investigate and resolve issues with incoming packages that arrive without an addressee.
- Set up tables and chairs for all scheduled meetings and events at HQ, Co|Lab, and The Shed.
- Monitor, order, and stock all janitorial needs and supplies at HQ, Co|Lab, and The Shed.
- Visit The Shed weekly to ensure everything is orderly and operational in the hallway and restrooms.
- Notify and make recommendations to the Facilities Manager regarding needed repairs and maintenance at Co|Lab and The Shed.
- Assist with changing toilet batteries and light bulbs in the building.
- Install and remove furniture from offices and conference rooms as needed.
- Ensure safe and clean walkways, garage, loading dock areas, and parking lots, including snow removal, debris clearance, and bird dropping removal.
- 2+ years of general facilities, warehouse, and office maintenance experience.
- 2-3 years of knowledge of green products, preferably in a Class A building.
- Software proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite, Tool Watch, and DocuSphere.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification within the first 60 days.
- Forklift operator certification within the first 30 days.
