Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prototype cable assembly and wire harness systems, guiding them from initial prototype to full-scale production.
  • Engage in PCB/A design, which includes gathering requirements, schematic design, component selection, overseeing layout completion, and conducting bring-up, testing, debugging, and system integration.
  • Contribute to the design, support, and development of electrical systems and subsystems for new products and components.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and oversee daily communications.
  • Create and document new testing procedures, and report on test plan outcomes.
  • Interpret designs and schematics effectively, troubleshooting circuit issues as they arise.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a preference for candidates with aerospace industry experience.
  • Familiarity with RF systems is desirable.
  • Experience in schematic capture of electrical circuits, with Altium being the preferred tool.
  • Knowledge of high voltage DC power systems is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret designs and schematics proficiently.
  • Skilled in using multimeters, power supplies, and multi-channel oscilloscopes.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation capabilities.
  • Experience working with suppliers is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.) is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility, agility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $100k - $130k annual base salary, commensurate with experience.
