  • Oversee and monitor the process and workflow of preparing various financial reports.
  • Responsible for state reporting, including maintaining lists of required documents, invoices, payments, etc.
  • Participate in financial reporting changes by adjusting/revising reporting processes and structures.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process and system improvements.
  • Create baseline documentation procedures and processes, including gathering documentation, work papers, and examples.
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering and explaining requested examples, procedures, and supporting information.
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
  • Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.

Requirements

  • College degree in Accounting and 5 years of accounting experience.
  • 3 years of financial reporting experience.
  • Experience in the preparation of journal entries.
  • Experience in the preparation of account reconciliations.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrates analytical skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Clear, concise, communication with good grammar, and appropriate word choice, oral or written.
