Customer Service Representative Job Description

As a valued member of the Family Dollar team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Greet customers and assist them in selecting merchandise, providing recommendations and suggestions as needed.
  • Process cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
