Pharmacy Technician Trainee Outpatient FT Moanalua

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician Trainee to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with filling prescriptions, processing medication orders, and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, members, and healthcare personnel, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and maintain accurate cash handling records.
- Restock medications, supplies, and equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and patient care.
Requirements
- Previous pharmacy experience or completion of a pharmacy technician training program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail, with accuracy and precision in record-keeping and cash handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or post-high school coursework in pharmacy technology.
