About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join our team of eICU physicians. As a key member of our telehealth services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care across our 15 hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice telemedicine and bedside medicine, with flexibility to accommodate various schedules
  • Collaborate with our growing team of eICU physicians to provide exceptional patient care
  • Participate in teleclinic sessions and contribute to the development of our telehealth services
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to prioritize care for patients across the mission
  • Contribute to education, research, and innovation initiatives to improve patient outcomes

Requirements
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine
  • Eligible for medical staff membership and privileges at our hospitals
  • Ability to obtain and maintain medical staff membership and privileges
  • Eligible to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
