About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join our team at OSF HealthCare. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our ambulatory pulmonary practice, with multiple outreach clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in our ambulatory pulmonary practice, with a focus on providing personalized attention and treatment.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex pulmonary and critical care needs.
  • Participate in educational programs and research initiatives to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
  • Eligibility to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain medical staff membership and privileges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement principles and practices.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
