Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer II to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer II, you will be responsible for providing critical assistance and care to customers in the Phoenix, Arizona region. You will travel to hospitals and laboratories throughout the region, providing repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on Bio-Rad's Clinical Diagnostics and Life Science instruments.

You will also respond to emergencies and occasionally assist staff in other regions, applying your thorough knowledge of our products to advocate for customers and deliver the highest levels of service and support.

Travel of up to 50% will be expected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on Bio-Rad's instruments
  • Support and maintain the Bio-Rad instruments on which our customers rely
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers
  • Adhere to FDA and GMP regulations and requirements
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of transferable field service experience servicing electro-mechnical/electronic/optical/robotics equipment
  • A.S. or B.S. in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field or military equivalent experience)
  • Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong customer relation and communication skills
Preferred Skills
  • Hands on experience with Diagnostic or Life Science instruments

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this position is $61,400 to $84,500 at the time of posting.

Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.

This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
