Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Santee Animal Hospital. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient records, and performing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, word processing, and mail service.
- Assist the Veterinary Practice Manager and healthcare team with various tasks and projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- 1+ year of experience in a veterinary or medical office setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hospital procedures and operating instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word).
