Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical part in crafting the future of mobility and enhancing the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support wireless operations, deployments, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the wireless infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineering and services teams to maintain installation documentation, standards, and troubleshooting/support guides.
  • Develop and train others on the use of tools and processes (Cisco Prime, Catalyst Center, Splunk, LiveAction, LogScale, etc.).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of AireOS and IOS Wireless Infrastructure experience.
  • 3+ years of Cisco Prime and Catalyst Center experience.
  • 5+ years of GUI and CLI Familiarity with Wireless Controllers.
  • 5+ years of Cisco Routers / Switches experience.
  • 3+ years of Change / Incident / Problem Management experience.
  • 5+ years of Wireless Network Operations/Implementation/Engineering Experience in Routing, Switching and Designs, Configuration and Troubleshooting.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • Agile Project Methodologies and Tools (ex. Rally, Document Repositories, SharePoint, Design/Standards, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Software Define Networking, Scripting, BMC and Support Tools.
  • Functional Understanding of IT Service Management / IT Infrastructure Library.
  • Ability to Solve Complex Problems that Span Across Network, Client, and Hosting Technologies.
  • Exceptional Communication and Organizational Skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: the ability to effectively communicate on technical and non-technical subjects.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a variable workload within an environment with conflicting demands.
