Job Title: 3DX Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled 3DX Solutions Architect to join our Product Development Platform Operations team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions within the Dassault 3DExperience platform to meet unique PLM requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of existing PLM processes and identify areas for optimization and innovation through the 3DX platform.
  • Establish best practices and guidelines for 3DX customization, development, platform, storage, network, and deployment, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to Ford's architectural standards.
  • Mentor and guide other team members on 3DX development best practices and technologies, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience working with PLM systems, specifically Dassault Systems 3DExperience platform, demonstrating a deep understanding of its architecture, functionalities, and customization capabilities.
  • Extensive understanding & experience of infrastructure, networking, storage, cloud/SaaS/onprem technologies.
  • Proven expertise in software development with proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used within the 3DX ecosystem (e.g., Java, JavaScript, C++, Python).
  • Strong experience with 3DX APIs, web services, and data models for developing custom integrations and applications.
  • Solid understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps), CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native development principles is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years working with Dassault's 3DX product line.
  • 3+ years leading solutions architecture teams and/or an individual contributor at a large organization.
  • 10+ years working in the manufacturing space and around PLM tooling.
  • Experience working in an AGILE working environment.
