- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and technical notes.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in the distribution sector.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with distribution design tools, such as BOUD, Pole Foreman, Spida-Calc, O-Calc, or similar.
- Knowledge of NESC Standards, ESRI, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation, and GIS.
- Experience with structural analysis, guying calcs, cable pulling calcs, coordination of protective devices, and electric demand and fault currents calculations.
- Work management software and job estimating software.
