About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hensel Phelps. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing daily work orders, small capital projects, routine preventative maintenance, and routine work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist HVAC and electrical mechanics in performing preventative maintenance tasks on equipment, examining for wear and tear, and making required repairs as needed.
  • Perform PM tasks on items such as roof drains, shop cleanup, and all other assigned areas.
  • Adhere to applicable state and local safety rules.
  • Assist and perform with activities such as painting and priming of interior and exterior walls, hanging and finishing sheetrock, hanging white boards, installing fixtures, etc.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One (1+) years' experience in general maintenance and/or a combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills such as internet, email, electronic manual, etc.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification.
