Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with Donor Center Operating Procedures (DCOP) and other company standards to meet regulatory requirements.
  2. Supervise donor center staff to uphold quality assurance protocols.
  3. Train personnel to effectively manage daily operations.
  4. Promote professional customer service skills among staff to enhance donor retention.
  5. Identify and address potential compliance issues impacting quality.
  6. Perform opening and closing duties in the absence of management.
  7. Maintain certifications in Screening, Donor Floor, Processing, Shipping, and Receiving.
  8. Respond promptly to alarms and assist in maintaining the alarm system.
  9. Support management in educating new donors about various Specialty Programs.
  10. Assist in inventory management of supplies and ensure proper stocking.
  11. Communicate relevant information regarding work areas to management.
  12. Help prepare weekly staffing schedules to accommodate operational needs.
  13. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational areas.
  14. Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in work areas.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Willingness to work flexible and/or extended shifts.
  3. Strong work ethic, communication, and organizational skills.
  4. Familiarity with occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
  5. Basic knowledge of computer systems and software.
  6. Demonstrated accuracy in documentation.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  2. Capability to lift and pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
  3. Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel as necessary.
  4. Regular exposure to blood-borne pathogens in the workplace.
  5. Frequent requirement to stand and use hands for handling objects and controls.
