Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Donor Center Operating Procedures (DCOP) and other company standards to meet regulatory requirements.
- Supervise donor center staff to uphold quality assurance protocols.
- Train personnel to effectively manage daily operations.
- Promote professional customer service skills among staff to enhance donor retention.
- Identify and address potential compliance issues impacting quality.
- Perform opening and closing duties in the absence of management.
- Maintain certifications in Screening, Donor Floor, Processing, Shipping, and Receiving.
- Respond promptly to alarms and assist in maintaining the alarm system.
- Support management in educating new donors about various Specialty Programs.
- Assist in inventory management of supplies and ensure proper stocking.
- Communicate relevant information regarding work areas to management.
- Help prepare weekly staffing schedules to accommodate operational needs.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in work areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Willingness to work flexible and/or extended shifts.
- Strong work ethic, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and software.
- Demonstrated accuracy in documentation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel as necessary.
- Regular exposure to blood-borne pathogens in the workplace.
- Frequent requirement to stand and use hands for handling objects and controls.
