Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Hamilton Health Care System. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely laboratory results to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory procedures in a timely and accurate manner according to established hospital policies and departmental procedures.
  • Function under the supervision of the medical laboratory director, manager, department supervisors, or charge tech.
  • Multi-task and float to areas as needed to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
  • Ensure specimen collection, quality, and timely test results and pending resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare team members to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Board registered as a Medical Laboratory Technician with one of the National Registries associated with laboratory practice (e.g., ASCP, AMT, or equivalent).
  • OR State of Tennessee Medical Laboratory Technician license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Attention to detail and concentration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
