Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk and Accounting Advisory Services professional to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Accounting and Advisory Services (RAAS) team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on risk management, internal controls, and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform enterprise risk services for a variety of disciplines, including internal audit, SOX and JSOX compliance, enterprise risk management framework development, quality assurance review, process and internal control improvement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide reporting assistance and analysis for engagements, including documenting and testing client internal control environments, identifying and analyzing potential risks and mitigation strategies, preparing proposals and engagement letters, and developing and implementing risk-assessment models and methodologies.
  • Assist with client accounting support, research markets, tools, and technology, and provide technical accounting advice, including assisting clients with post-merger integration of accounting activities, providing short-term temporary accounting support, and providing counsel on implementation of new technical accounting standards into the everyday practice of an organization.
Requirements
  • Detail-oriented leader with problem-solving, communication, organizational, technical, and analytical skills.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or related field.
  • Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
  • On track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA or CIA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining the CIA or CPA license.
