Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineering and Technical Advisor (SETA) within our Space and Mission Engineering sector, you will:

  • Work closely with government stakeholders to ensure contractor performance meets expectations
  • Coordinate with development contractors to resolve technical and programmatic deficiencies
  • Provide Systems Engineering support for a major GEOINT processing acquisition
  • Utilize strong communication skills to present information clearly and concisely to government stakeholders
  • Participate in enterprise test forums and maintain engagement on test planning and execution activities
  • Support developer teams through factory and enterprise-level testing events
  • Assess impacts from Requests for Change (RFCs) across the major GEOINT processing acquisition
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (8-10 years of experience), Master's degree (6-8 years of experience), or Ph.D. (3-5 years of experience)
  • A Top Secret/Secret Clearance with Polygraph
  • Thorough understanding of Full Spectrum GEOINT products and GEOINT radar processing concepts
  • Strong understanding of test procedures and processes, including factory and enterprise-level testing
  • Ability to assess and mitigate mission impacts from changes to test responsibilities or scope
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience with commercial Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA) or ability to learn quickly
  • Experience with the acquisition and maintenance of software development contracts or SETA experience
  • Experience with Requests for Change (RFCs)
  • Knowledge of SAFe or Agile frameworks
  • Experience with Systems Engineering requirements, architectures, and verification/validation (V&V)
