Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Transportation Drainage Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Transportation Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire design process from proposal to preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates for moderate to large highway/roadway projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the entire design process from proposal to preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates for moderate to large highway/roadway projects.
  • Coordinate all disciplines involved in the project, including roadway, structural, traffic, landscaping, and environmental.
  • Coordinate with all subconsultants, clients, and ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Perform or ensure that quality control is accomplished for each project.
  • Supervise highway/roadway design teams and perform more complicated design work on larger projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in all aspects of drainage engineering design.
  • Arizona PE registration with ability to acquire New Mexico PE registration & CFM.
  • Experience with standard drainage analysis packages, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InRoads, and other transportation drainage design software packages.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in all aspects of drainage engineering design.
  • A minimum of 10 years' Project Management experience.
