Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research and due diligence to understand the feasibility and profitability of potential land acquisitions.
  • Negotiate land purchase agreements and contracts, ensuring the best possible terms for the company.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure land acquisitions align with project timelines and budgets.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, zoning laws, and other factors that may impact land acquisition strategies.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on potential land acquisitions to senior management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in negotiating land purchases and managing relationships with landowners.
  • Strong knowledge of BLM (Bureau of Land Management) procedures and land laws.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate the feasibility and profitability of potential land acquisitions.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to senior management.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Law, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the local real estate market, zoning laws, and other relevant regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
