Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Server to join our team at Manor Vail Lodge. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving Guests
    • Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
    • Writes order on check or memorizes it.
    • Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
    • Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving.
    • Serves patrons.
  • Observing and Responding to Guest Needs
    • Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
  • Managing the Dining Area
    • Totals bill and accepts payment.
    • Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
  • Pre-Service and Post-Service Tasks
    • Turns on all TV's, Music/Sound systems, and lights.
    • Sweeps floors.
    • Wipes down tables, chairs, and booths.
    • Fills caddies with correct number of menus and rollups at each table.
    • Uncovers fire pit and patio furniture.
    • Checks phone for messages.
    • Fills ice in Soda Machines.
    • Set up bus tub and wash buckets for silverware and ramekins.
    • Fills and stocks water bottles.
    • Turns on and heats up water kettle.
    • Set up coffee station.
    • Set up and stocks salt-pepper, sugar caddies, extra silverware, napkins, and condiments.
    • Set up To-Go station.
    • Closing tasks include turning off all fireplaces, fire pits, music, TV, and lights, putting covers on all outdoor furniture, wiping off all indoor furniture, locking all required cabinets and doors, polishing all glassware and silverware, sweeping all floors, mopping and wiping down server stations, printing and completing required server reports and receipts, and turning off hot water machines.
    Compensation

The compensation for this position is $11.40/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
