As a key member of our Process Development team, you will be responsible for participating in the development and optimization of fermentation and purification processes for proteins and VLPs at lab and pilot scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and optimization of fermentation and purification processes
  • Provide support for the execution of process development activities and manufacturing investigations
  • Perform laboratory scale studies and design and troubleshoot experiments
  • Author laboratory notebooks and technical documents
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (biochemistry, chemistry, biology), life sciences, or engineering
  • Experience with bio reactor and micro fermentation, automation (delta v system), and aseptic technique
  • Wet chemistry laboratory skills, technical writing, and laboratory records management
  • Excellent collaborative and team-working skills, strong technical problem-solving abilities, and data interpretation and presentation competence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience performing fermentation or cell culture studies at the lab scale
  • Experience with laboratory operations and facility operations
  • Experience working in an industry environment and conducting laboratory scale process characterization studies
