Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ground Maintenance Technician to join our team at Delta Airlines. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, service, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and overhaul all ground support equipment and components.
  • Perform electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair, painting, body work, and other technical work as required on all ground support equipment.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of ground support equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ground maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
