Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Technician to join our team at Delta Air Lines, Inc. As a Ground Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ground support equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, including motors, controls, and pneumatic systems.
  • Use technical documentation, such as diagrams and manuals, to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and vendors to resolve complex issues and ensure timely repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including inventory management and reporting.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree or three years of experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Proficiency in English and ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
  • Ability to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Detailed understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation, including manuals and schematics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
