Job Title: Ground Maintenance Technician

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Technician to join our team at JFK airport. As a Ground Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems on our ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Locate and repair malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
  • Use technical documentation and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Collaborate with other technicians and vendors to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems maintenance
  • Ability to lift 50-70 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in English language
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Detailed understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation
  • Experience with PLC controls and network systems
