Job Overview

At Jim Hudson Automotive Group, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Inventory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our parts department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of automotive parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Processing Parts: Receive and inspect incoming parts shipments, verifying quantities and accuracy.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull and pack parts for orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Part Returns and Scrapping: Process part returns, restocking or scrapping as necessary, and dispose of warranty parts in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Lifting and Physical Demands: Ability to lift moderate weight items (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with computer systems and software, preferably with experience in inventory management.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in inventory control or a related field.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
