About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Distribution Sales Representative to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in the automotive paint and coatings market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct B2B sales calls to prospective and existing customers to identify their needs and develop solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, including their application and preparation, to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Utilize sales process and programs to identify customer needs and develop solutions to objectives.
  • Collect, maintain, and build upon customer/prospect information using SalesForce CRM and additional platforms.
  • Develop a daily and weekly pre-call strategy to ensure effective time allocation.
  • Access product/technical information to support customers' application requirements.
  • Identify ways to deepen the business relationship with customers.
  • Maintain effective communication with sales manager on strategies and opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Adhere to company safety standards at all times.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 1 year in B2B sales related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and SalesForce CRM.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Automotive paint, body, and equipment sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of industry experience.
