Electrical Test Engineer for Space Vehicle Systems

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join our Integration and Test team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing test procedures for flight hardware, working closely with design and systems engineers to ensure that tests are designed to verify pertinent requirements.
Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and execute test procedures for flight hardware
- Work with design and systems engineers to plan tests of integrated vehicle and subsystems
- Troubleshoot issues and anomalies that arise during testing
- Reduce, analyze, and archive test data to support verification tasks
- Perform root cause, system hazard analysis, and failure investigations
- Find opportunities for safety improvements and cost savings
- Communicate test status updates and results to stakeholders
- BS in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or related technical discipline
- 0+ years of applicable experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
- Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Experience with space vehicle component, subsystem, or integrated vehicle testing
- 2+ years of applicable experience
- Experience with participating in NASA technical reviews
- Understanding of hazardous operations
- Experience with scripting (Python or other scripting language)
