Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our Integration and Test team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and successful testing of our space vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and execute test procedures for flight hardware to ensure compliance with safety and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with design and systems engineers to plan tests of integrated vehicles and subsystems, ensuring that tests are designed to verify pertinent requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues and anomalies that arise during testing, and develop solutions to resolve them.
  • Analyze and archive test data to support verification tasks, and identify opportunities for safety improvements and cost savings.
  • Participate in test readiness reviews, pre-test briefings, and post-test reviews to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Enforce safety policies during test planning and operations, and ensure that all team members are aware of and comply with safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 0+ years of applicable experience in electrical test engineering, with a strong understanding of space vehicle systems and testing.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with space vehicle component, subsystem, or integrated vehicle testing, including functional and performance testing.
  • 2+ years of applicable experience in electrical test engineering, with a strong understanding of space vehicle systems and testing.
  • Experience participating in NASA technical reviews, and understanding of hazardous operations.
  • Experience with scripting (Python or other scripting language).
