Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise payroll records for all employees.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts.
  • Conduct data entry for new hires, terminations, and employee modifications.
  • Collaborate with HR to verify employee information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and disseminate payroll reports to management as required.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes and reporting.
  • Stay informed on changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and procedures.
  • Strong data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with governmental accounting principles and regulations.
  • Experience with payroll software such as Paychex, Ceridian, Workday, or Kronos.
  • Ability to analyze financial concepts related to payroll.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Understanding of employee benefits.

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Location: Onsite
