Job Summary: Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for Visually Impaired Students to provide specialized instruction and support for students with visual challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments.
  • Provide direct instruction and support for students in various settings.
  • Adapt curriculum and materials to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.
  • Utilize assistive technologies to enhance learning for visually impaired students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education with a focus on Visual Impairments.
  • Teaching Certification for Visual Impairments in the State.
  • Certification in Braille is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Teacher for the Blind and Visually Impaired is advantageous.
