Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role ranges from $60,820 to $98,680.

Job Responsibilities

As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips, and other key indicators. You will also administer medications, implement complex treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

You will educate patients and their families on managing acute or chronic conditions, including equipment usage like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors. Additionally, you will maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and other advanced nursing care practices
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems
