About the Role

This position is for a Pediatric Care Specialist who will provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adults with chronic medical conditions and special needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with our patients and families.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $20.03 - $28.52 per hour, depending on experience. As a full-time employee, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Job Description
  • Provides direct patient care, meeting both psychological and physical needs in accordance with the plan of care, physician's orders, and nursing policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of a current, individualized, goal-oriented plan of care and consults with other health professionals to assure that the assessed needs of patient/caregiver are met.
  • Observes, assesses, documents, and reports patient response to treatments/therapies and teaching, and adjusts priorities of care according to patient/caregiver needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduation from a state accredited program of practical nurse education.
  • Licensure to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of North Carolina.
  • No prior experience required.
Location and Work Schedule

This position is located in Chapel Hill, NC and requires a full-time schedule with standard hours of 40 hours per week. The work assignment type is onsite and the work schedule is day job.
