This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Attorney to join our team at Jobot and work closely with experienced attorneys in the Trust and Estates department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing sophisticated estate planning strategies, interacting with clients and other professional advisors, and handling a wide range of tasks related to trust and estate administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement estate planning strategies for clients, including trust administration and income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax matters.
  • Prepare and review trust and estate documents, including tax returns.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other professional advisors, ensuring the highest level of technical knowledge, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys to ensure seamless execution of estate planning strategies.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in sophisticated estate planning.
  • LL.M in taxation is a plus.
  • JD with superior academic credentials.
  • Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts probate and trust law.
