Job Summary

The Cashier is responsible for utilizing a cash register and accepting payment, preparing and serving concession items to guests, and ensuring quality of food presentation. This role requires excellent attendance and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct cash register sales by entering orders and completing transactions.
  • Maintain stock and supply levels, and communicate low stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
  • Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages responsibly, and verify minimum age requirement for purchase.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Assemble and serve guest orders.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Three or more months of experience in the food service industry preferred.
  • Previous card payment handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn to handle card payments and operate a cash register and corresponding system.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
  • Food handlers permit.
  • MAST Permit.
