Position Overview

We are in search of a Senior IT Compliance Analyst for a contract role focused on compliance initiatives. This position offers the flexibility of remote work for qualified candidates. The selected individual will be tasked with overseeing compliance activities, evaluating existing standards, refreshing them, and developing new protocols primarily related to application development processes (SDLC, DevOps) in collaboration with various functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and manage compliance initiatives, including the creation of compliance checklists, identification of regulatory concerns, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert representing the Service Delivery organization to support departments and application teams.
  • Analyze departmental needs to interpret policies and standards, developing checklists and procedures for operational use.
  • Create a comprehensive checklist of compliance standards applicable to various departments within the Service Delivery & Support organization, ensuring adherence to relevant policies and controls.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to facilitate the development of standards and work with the Security organization to ensure compliance checklists are thorough and effective.
  • Generate and present reports on compliance adherence, identifying gaps and risks while collaborating with partner teams to enhance compliance efforts.
  • Continuously refine compliance processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, working closely with impacted areas and external vendors.
  • Review audit findings and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure timely remediation of any issues identified.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in standards development, particularly within SDLC and DevOps environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen interest in researching industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT compliance.
  • Familiarity with NIST and HIPAA standards.
