Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Process Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for processing and packaging enzymes and antioxidant blends produced at our Freeze Dry/NEP plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to all quality systems, including ISO 9001, Food Safety GMP's, HACCP, FSSC 22000, NSF, and ICH Q7.
  • Comply with all Company policies, including Quality, Safety, Food Safety, Environmental, GMP's, HAACP, and Attendance.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions to make necessary adjustments in the production process.
  • Load and unload process equipment, and move raw materials, equipment, and final products throughout the plant.
  • Maintain accurate written records or logs of all production processes/equipment/maintenance/routine cleaning.
  • Assemble and disassemble production equipment as required by processes and Work Instructions.
  • Clean, sanitize, and sterilize all production/packaging equipment and other process areas in the plant.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Successful work history, ability to work as a team player, and proven mechanical ability.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using percentages and decimals, and utilize the metric system for measurement.
  • Ability to read, communicate, comprehend, and follow oral and written procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Basic understanding of computers to retrieve and enter data on a database, communicate via team pass down e-mails, and navigate the internet for safety training.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to fifty-five (55) pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and move throughout the plant.
Working Conditions

This position operates in plant environments, with temperatures ranging from negative forty (-40) degrees to seventy-eight (78) degrees Fahrenheit. Conditions may be wet, slippery, humid, and dusty.
