About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Maintenance Technician 2 to join our Promega Chappelle Manufacturing Center team. As a key member of our Chemistry Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the operability of various manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing production downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshoot issues relating to process equipment and utilities.
  2. Promptly respond to equipment and utility malfunctions to minimize unplanned downtime.
  3. Assist in the execution of capital projects relating to process equipment and utilities.
  4. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing equipment reliability.
  5. Ensure maintenance activities comply with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment and utility maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and with other team members in a cooperative manner.
