About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Administrator to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Site Reliability Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux server systems
  • Design, develop, deploy, or test in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and use tools such as EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or IAM permissions
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain systems while isolating and resolving problems, including applications, operating systems, communications, or infrastructure
  • Provide systems and account administration consistent with system requirements
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
  • Ability to support shift work
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in IT, Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience in IT, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in IT
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with network devices, including firewall administration
  • Knowledge of trouble ticketing systems and processes
  • Knowledge of government security practices and policies
  • Ability to navigate problems quickly and route issues to proper priority
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
