Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy resilient infrastructure solutions using cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Implement monitoring tools and automate routine tasks to reduce toil and improve system efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues and improve overall system reliability
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and knowledge base to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer
Requirements
  • Experience with deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems
  • Experience with designing, developing, deploying, or testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and using tools, including EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or IAM permissions
  • Experience with implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems while isolating and resolving problems, including the applications, operating systems, communications, or infrastructure
  • Experience with providing systems and account administration consistent with system requirements
  • Ability to support shift work
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in IT, Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience in IT, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in IT
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with network devices, including firewall administration
  • Knowledge of trouble ticketing systems and processes
  • Knowledge of government security practices and policies
  • Ability to navigate problems quickly and route issues to proper priority
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
