Patient Support Unit Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Patient Support Unit Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in El Paso, TX. As a member of our OptumCare organization, you will be part of a clinician-led care team that is changing the face of healthcare for seniors.
Our focus is on providing preventative healthcare and comprehensive care to a mostly Medicare-aged population. You will work alongside talented peers in a collaborative environment that is guided by diversity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:- See patients in different clinics in the Greater El Paso Metro area, including home, telemedicine, and mobile visits
- Practice in collaboration with our Contracted and Affiliated WellMed physicians, their advance practice clinicians, and their clinic staff
- Educate providers on proper coding, risk adjustment metrics, capturing documentation, and adhering to quality protocols
- Interview patients to ensure proper documentation and to ensure all preventative screenings have been complete
- Performance will be tracked and comparatively reported using metrics related to the strategic direction and operational needs of the organization

- Base Salary plus Annual Quality Incentive with a target of $15,000
