POSITION SUMMARY: The Junior Equipment Repair Specialist role at Foundry, a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, presents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to become part of a dynamic team, supported by a prominent entity in the expanding cryptocurrency field. In this position, you will report to the Lead Data Center Engineer and be tasked with the fundamental repairs of bitcoin mining apparatus.

This is a unique chance to work within a small, highly skilled entrepreneurial team, backed by a significant player in the rapidly evolving crypto industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

YOUR ROLE INCLUDES:

  • Disassembling and reassembling bitcoin mining devices
  • Logging repair requests into the ticketing system
  • Preparing bitcoin miners for shipping and receiving
  • Operating specialized mining machinery
  • Racking and de-racking bitcoin mining equipment
  • Selecting components from inventory and transporting them to designated work areas
  • Following safety protocols and maintaining a tidy workspace
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications; Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in computer hardware maintenance and repair
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in a general warehouse setting

Preferred Qualifications; Skills and Abilities:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
  • 1 year of experience in the bitcoin mining sector
