Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Records Management Specialist to join our Newark Records team. This role is essential in ensuring the effective management of our records in accordance with client and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily activities per Forrest Solutions and client's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Sort incoming records, identifying and indexing documents.
  • Scan, save, and organize documents in the firm's Document Management System.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all firm records and files.
  • Accurately enter file information into a records management database.
  • Create, label, and shelve files efficiently.
  • Locate, compile, and distribute requested files and documents.
  • Maintain organization within the file room.
  • Use a handheld barcode scanner for tracking case files.
  • Process inactive and closed files for off-site storage.
  • Collaborate with offsite storage vendors.
  • Maintain daily productivity logs.
  • Research case information in various client databases.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Experience with records management systems is a plus.
