At Hy-Vee, we're committed to providing exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience. As a Central Cycle Count Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our grocery department meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure products are available to customers in a timely manner.
- Utilize product management software to minimize out-of-stocks and optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with store management to determine product placement and resets to ensure timely presentation of products to customers.
- Monitor and report on damage/unsaleables and implement solutions to reduce them.
- Assist department managers with questions concerning product management and provide support as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong basic math skills necessary.
- Over six months to one year of similar or related experience preferred.
This position is frequently exposed to noise and occasionally exposed to temperature extremes and equipment movement hazards. The fast-paced work environment and pressure to meet deadlines are ongoing.
