Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement VDC strategies at the project level, including BIM execution planning, kickoff meetings, coordination, 3D modeling, site logistics, 2D drawing production, and 4D schedule simulations.
  • Produce high-quality rendering images and animations for marketing purposes.
  • Create native 3D model content using Revit or Sketchup to facilitate work coordination.
  • Establish a standardized Revit family and Sketchup component library for company-wide use.
  • Develop a comprehensive Dynamo script library to enhance efficiency.
  • Lead the technical aspects of 3D constructability and design coordination, collaborating with project stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support for various software applications, including Revit, Bluebeam, Revizto, Fuzor, Procore, and Power BI.
  • Set up project-specific BIM data platforms, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM 360.
  • Deliver VDC software training to promote company-wide adaptation.
  • Assist in the formulation of project-specific VDC strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the VDC Manager to align contract language with trade buyout processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of 2 years of practical VDC construction experience.
  • A portfolio showcasing VDC work samples is required.
  • Proficient in BIM software applications, including 3D Native Modeling (Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup), 3D Coordination (Navisworks, Revizto, Procore), 4D Simulation (Fuzor), and PointCloud (Recap).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite (Premiere and After Effects) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of computational languages such as Dynamo, Python, and C# is beneficial.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI is a plus.
  • Ability to train and educate on VDC programs and processes.
  • Experience in creating visual graphics and animations for construction processes.
  • Understanding of basic project management and construction workflows.
  • Demonstrated accountability and timeliness in meeting commitments.
  • A collaborative mindset, self-motivated problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with construction practices and procedures.
  • Willingness to travel to regional offices as required.
