Executive Chef

As a key member of our culinary team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of cooks and other associates engaged in preparing, cooking, and serving food. This role requires a strong focus on ensuring all food handling, sanitation, and customer service standards are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and other associates to ensure efficient food production and delivery.
- Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and customer service standards are met, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes, meeting production, delivery, and service schedules.
- Supervise hourly kitchen associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action.
- Track food use, waste, and consumption to requisition or purchase product, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Inspect product and supplies for quality and quantity, maintaining a high level of inventory control.
- Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils, ensuring compliance with sanitation, safety, production, and merchandising requirements.
- Help select and develop recipes and menus, contributing to the culinary team's success.
