Job Title: Community Donation ManagerWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Donation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the Community Donation Center, ensuring a positive and unforgettable donor experience, and promoting brand awareness in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Community Donation Center, ensuring it is organized, clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Partner with the Production Manager/Store Manager to manage donation flow from the CDC into the production room.
- Engage with customers and donors to promote Savers' brand and encourage donations.
- Plan, track, and measure donation goals and results.
- Use the CDC Scheduler and Daily Planner to schedule CDC Ambassadors and ensure coverage is aligned with expected volume and donor traffic.
- Utilize branded sign packages and company-approved materials to promote the Savers brand.
- Lead, direct, and supervise the work of CDC Ambassadors, including recruiting, selecting, and training new team members.
- Develop a culture of genuine appreciation for donors and donations at the CDC.
- High School diploma; post-secondary degree/diploma preferred.
- Experience managing people preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Mathematical skills.
- Ability to communicate well in both verbal and written forms.
- Ability to observe, assess, and coach the work of others.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and/or verbal form.
- Ability to reason, make decisions, and use independent judgment in various situations.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
The Community Donation Manager must be able to frequently lift and carry products weighing less than 5 lbs. and occasionally lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs. They must also be able to stand for long periods, walk, stoop, bend, and twist, and occasionally kneel.
