About the Role:

The Community Donation Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Community Donation Center. This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with donors, team members, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Community Donation Center, ensuring it is organized, clean, and welcoming to donors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote brand awareness and drive donations in the community.
  • Lead and direct a team of Community Donation Center Ambassadors, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Partner with the Production Manager/Store Manager to manage donation flow from the CDC into the production room.
  • Engage with customers and donors to promote Savers' brand and values.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary degree/diploma preferred.
  • Experience managing people and leading teams preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as stand for long periods and walk frequently.
